i love parenting another “set” of little boys. Our first set are 2 years apart and they definitely kept me on my toes. As a new mom, it was sometimes overwhelming, and all I could do to keep my head above water. This set of boys, #4 & #5, are also 2 yrs apart, and whether it’s personality, or being a now-well-seasoned mom in a happy place, I’m enjoying watching them be little boys. Recently we had a mild day in the middle of winter, and kids around here take full advantage:
A hill. A very steep hill. Rocks. Temps above freezing. A perfect situation. Notice the shorts. In February. #itsabove32
Sliding down the hill! #sagebrushisprickly
Back home for a picnic. It’s at least 40 out! Sweet!
Our ice rink is melting so let’s just rollerblade. Mom pointed out we were sweating in our winter coats
Wait! I have an idea!
Totally! I concur! Great idea!
Rollerblading down a slide doesn’t seem daring enough…good thing I remembered where this ladder is.
Who needs snow!?!
Mom, you clearly need something to do today. How about “pushing” us around the yard in the grass and dirt?!
These shoes seemed too organized. We should definitely pitch in and help mom out. Load ’em up!
Now for a refreshing waterless tubby.
